This handrail was made from an Angels Envy barrel and 2 of the pictures are of other handrails for reference, its pretty rad!

Handcrafted from beautiful retired whiskey barrels from the best large and small craft distillers in the heart of America, my exquisite whiskey furniture collection will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to Americas whiskey culture. After years of making amazing whiskey (which I'm SURE you have enjoyed) these barrels are retired and taken to my shop to take on new life as art and furniture. Carefully taken apart and dried for up to a year before it is sanded and finished with natural organic food grade Tung oil to protect it for a lifetime of use.

The "Visky" handrail is standard only in length. It has remarkable movement in each piece drawing the eye upwards on a staircase. Years of producing incredible whisky have aged this wood with all the striations of color from drawing the rich whisky. Each piece is hand stripped and sanded silky smooth.

These retired whiskey barrels have brought joy to millions of drinkers, and although their whiskey making days are behind them, their distinctive character lasts on. With some careful shaping and finishing, each piece becomes a work of art suitable for warming the heart of a true whisky lover.

I word on color: the inside of the barrels are black due to charring for flavor and the outside can be black or any shade to golden depending on the individual barrel., if you have a specific request, just put a note in the "notes to seller" on check out and I'll get you all hooked up.

The notch you see is where the barrel head sat and its location is purely due to length. Some lengths both are up, some both down, and some are one up one down, it just depends on length. It makes no difference structurally which way they face as its purely decorative at this point and I love keeping the fine details of the original barrel intact to preserve its history and character.

INCLUDES: 1 x Visky Handrail pictured , all mounting hardware*, plus extra goodies from the shop, my treat!

*I send at least 1 mounting bracket for every 16"-18" of handrail length. It's highly recommend to use all included hardware to ensure maximum strength and longevity.

DIMENSIONS: Width: @2 x 24" Length x 1" thick

MOUNTING: Can be mounted vertically or horizontally (wide side or narrow side up or down). Depending on the length you may see the lid groove on the same side, or on opposite sides of the handrail. Some lengths end up being an "S" shape and some lengths end up being an "M" shape. **See above photos. THIS IS TOTALLY NORMAL and has nothing to do with mounting the handrail, it is just an part of the overall design and aesthetic.

To keep the price down I ship anything over 7' in 2-3 pieces otherwise it ships freight and that gets pricey quick. It takes less than 5 min to attach and install, just the time for a quick cocktail. Its super easy.

I send brackets for every 24-30" and they MUST be used and installed or it voids the warranty. Putting up, say, a 14' handrail with 2 brackets looks fab but will break and void a replacement. Look its solid oak and tough, but there are limits, so please use the brackets and common sense.
