Stag's Leap Grapevine Candle Holder made from retired California Cabernet grapevine - 100% Recycled! 122121-13

In my continuing effort to be environmentally conscious and recycle (and to create more awesomeness), I came up with this fun filled idea to recycle in a unique way.

Handcrafted from locally sourced Stag's Leap Napa grapevines in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite candle holders will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. Available in a wide variety of designs and customizable options, this candle holder is sure to be the most functional piece of art you own!

I don't have many of these vines as they rarely come up and I got this one 6 years ago and she is now ready for her debut and to find a permanent home. If you have ever had Duckhorn Cabernet, this vine probably made the wine you had.

Once the vine retired to my workshop I put it in the kiln to reduce the moisture and to kill off any bugs. The wood is then meticulously sanded until the beauty of its winemaking history is revealed and sealed to protect it for a lifetime of use. This one-of-a-kind decor is a beautiful accessory and finished with 3 coats of clear UV sealer to protect it for a lifetime of enjoyment.
