Handcrafted from retired Napa valley wine barrel staves in the heart of California wine country, our exquisite art collection will showcase your home or business with a rustic elegance unique to California wine culture. The "Sotet" is an art piece that transforms its raw materials into wonderful art. Crafted from retired whiskey barrels from my finest distilleries (Angels Envy, Bulleit, Jack Daniels, etc) you can see the beautiful patina after many years of happy whiskey making.

We start with retired whiskey barrels and dry them or up to a year before we carefully cut them into thee strips and attach them securely to a custom backing. The whiskey stained oak faces out to enhance its warm glow for a truly delightful effect.

Beautiful and elegant, it highlights the dark char of the barrel and the graceful curve of the barrel itself. Securely bolted together and covered in several layers of a clear UV sealer, it is ready to hang in your bar or cellar or to bring whisky country into your home or business.

Can be hung horizontally or vertically.

The deep black of the staves, earned during years or decades of whiskey production, really stands out. Reminiscent of the Craftsman design period at the end of the 19th century, The "Sotet" has wonderful design, delightful shadows and fabulous texture.

Beautiful, simple, and elegant in its craftsmanship and very visually balanced. Very "light" piece visually but incredibly sturdy to resist dogs and kids, after all, its solid oak and steel.
